time to start potty training????

I am looking for some advise, tips, or anything you got on this...

I am torn on this potty training stuff. I would love to not have to change double the diapers, because lets face it...it is turning into a full time job now. But I don't think having to run to the bathroom every 10 minutes sounds like something I have time for now.

I have been told my multiple people now that when your kid wakes up dry consecutive mornings that it means they are "ready." Well this has been happening here for about 2 weeks now. Which is super exciting, but now what? Whenever I ask Ty if he needs to go potty he says "no," when I asked him if he pooped he says "no." Are you seeing a pattern here?
He never fights me when I tell him I need to change his diaper but it seems like caring the extra load around doesn't bother him.

The other night he went to his usually corner to do "his business," so we hurried and grabbed him and stuck him on the toilet. Of course nothing happened after 10 minutes of hanging out in the bathroom and bribing him with m&m's.

One of my clients did this 3 day potty training boot camp on both her girls and it worked great. That was my original plan but I am wondering if it will even work since Ty has no desire at this point. I have thought about just putting underwear on him and see how it goes but I am not looking forward to cleaning my floors 50 times a day.

Any other suggestions or feedback on what has worked for you or people you know would be wonderful!

It just clicked one day for Austin -- unfortunately it wasn't until right before his third birthday -- but he was ready and we didn't have to fight him. It may or may not have helped that he'd get FIVE starburts after every successful potty trip. One night he cried when my mom told him she'd give him six if he went #2.... "no, nana, you said FIVE." Thank God for Mrs. Steele... we are now potty trained and we know that six is MORE than five. Good luck!
