catch up time

Wow, its has been a long time since I have posted something! It has been c.r.a.z.y. here. I feel like we are cramming as much stuff as we possibly can get in before the baby is here. There is so much going on and I need a break. Josh informed me that I did have a "vacation" coming up and after I told him that vacation ment that he would be changing diapers, washing bottles, making supper, and waking up in the middle of the night, he quickly reworded that to "a change of pace."
I always miss my job when I'm gone because I truly love what I do and I love my co-workers & my awesome clients but I am so tired at the end of the day that leaving for a couple of weeks sounds better everyday. We just had one of our craziest day of the year...Homecoming and to top it off we also had 3 different weddings come thru too. I gotta share my favorite updo of the day.

I think the colors in her hair make it look so beautiful! And I am a sucker for those flower clips!

When I got home from work and got to eat something and take off my shoes, I got my second wind and was ready to tackle our next project. Painting some ugly furniture! This did of course turn into a bigger deal than what I had first thought. Here are before pics and you will have to wait for the "afters" because they aren't done. But what is finished looks great and I am super excited to finish it all and move it in!

Ty is saying "Cheese"

These are UGLY, I know! But I love the clean line style.

And since we were sanding, safety goggles are a must!

When they are all moved in, I will finally share pictures of Ty's big boy room. It is totally coming together the way I had hoped and I can't wait to show it off!

I have also been busy getting ready for little bro. I have already done a couple loads of laundry but I keep getting more things so more laundry is in my future. I bought the stuff that I need to get his name on the wall, now I got to figure out what I want to do with them. It would be great to welcome him home with his room just perfect.
I have been going to my weekly doctor appointments for 3 weeks now. Last week my Dad took the day off  to watch Ty so I could go to the doc, preregister at the hospital and to get some shopping done. I went to St. Elizabeth's first and got all the taken care of. I was so excited when I saw this:

That's Ty footprint and cousin Colby's above his. And look...a nice space for little bro's right under Ty's. I told the lady to not let anyone take it and she said to put an x on it. I will be really ticked off if this has been open for over 2 years and some takes it in less than 5 weeks!
I was back at the doctors today and he did tell me that I had the option to get induced the week before my due date. I can't decide what to do. I would rather that the baby just came on his own but it would be so great to have a set date. Maybe I'll wait and see at my next appt if I have made any progress and go from there.

There are so many other pictures of our recent activities that I want to share but they would make this post a novel so they will pop up here and there. When I find the time to get it together!

BIG NEWS

I am sooo excited to announce that we are

Pacifier Free!!!!

Since August 21st, Ty hasn't had a pacie. That night he just fell asleep without it and we kept it going from there. We did have some rough times here and there but we got through it. I am very proud of myself. Really...you have no idea. I bought a new pack of pacifiers awhile back, because I was scared that when Ty ruined the ones we have it was going to be terrible. I did however return them on the 16th and just told myself that it wasn't going to be that bad. The only down fall is that he has been waking up extra early. Like 5am. I guess he is punishing me for taking away his bff. I'm hoping that when he gets his little brother in less than 2 months(hopefully) he will not try to take his away and use it.

I want to finish this off with a pictures of our late friend "the paci" and Ty.
