Vacation 2011

Everyone has gotta get away right? YEP! We left last friday night for Branson, Mo. Just a quick 4 day trip to take it easy. And thats exactly what we did! I'm mean really, how much can you actually do with an almost 2 year old. So here is a vacay review.
We left friday around 4 and after a stop for supper and running into construction the Voss' and Ruhmann's made it safely there in 6 hrs. Way too long for a kid in a carseat! Checked in and went to the room to discover that we had two master bedrooms. BONUS! Josh and I have never slept in a king size bed and, boy oh boy, am I super jealous of everyone who owns one now! Ah.Mazing! Too bad we couldn't have any other furniture in our bedroom if we moved one of those bad boys in. Not to mention that I spent a sick amount on our lovely Hotel Collection bedding from Macy's. I guess we will be sleeping queen style for awhile.
Saturday morning after breakfast I got Ty all ready to hit the pool. We walked to the club house and found out the outdoor pool was closed due to some people having too good of a time the night before. So I took my greasy sunscreen coaked child to the indoor pool.
He was excited to see the pool and liked swimming around but only stayed interested in all this for about an hour and it was old news.
Saturday afternoon we were getting ready to go to the Sights and Sounds Theather for the production of Noah the Musical, when we got a text informing us that our newest family member had arrived.
Meet Levi Nathaniel Nagel! A big Congratulations to my cousin Scott, his wife Ginger and of course big brother Kaleb!
In all our excitement we managed to get to the show on time and it was great! Ty enjoyed the singing and seeing all of the animals. After the show we dined at Mountain Mike's Steakhouse and we back to the condo.
Sunday we decided to try the outdoor pool again. PTL, it was open and it was awesome! After swimming and lunch Ty went down for a nap and the girls left to go shopping. I had some major necessities that were calling my name. This preggo needed some new bras. Seriously....I don't remember things changing so much with Ty, but guess what?!!?!? TWO, yes, TWO SIZES! Oh no, I am only half there! Where am I going to put these things?! I also managed to find a decent dress to wear to Jen and Andrew's wedding in 1 week. It would not be something that I would normally buy, so hopefully I can pull it off.
The Men/Boy met us at the Reebok outlet for some serious shoe shopping. Josh hasn't bought a new pair of tennis shoes since I have known him! This makes me crazy, so I insisted that he would be getting shoes. They were having a buy one get one 50% off sale. Perfect! Here is what we came home with.
I got new shoes for work, Ty got his next pair of shoes and the ones after that, and Josh, well these are probably the last pair of tennis shoes he will ever purchase. Seriously. 4 pair for approx $125!
Monday was another day of swimming and shopping.
Tuesday we were up early and ready to go boating.
Ty loved driving the boat and tooting the horn. We even drove into Arkansas, so Ty can add a State to his list. It still counts, even though he was sleeping through most of it, right?
We packed up tuesday night and we on our way home wednesday morning after breakfast. The ride home went surprisingly well. Thanks to the genius that invented portable DVD players!

We had a nice relaxing time and I am sorry that I don't have more pics in this blog. Again, Aunt Amanda was along and I got camera lazy. Keep an eye out on FB, I am sure she will be putting them on there!

How fun! Glad you got to get away!
p.s. I am SUPER excited that I get to see you Saturday at the wedding :) Bonus for me! :) We will have Megan at the Wedding but not reception, cause the past 2 weddings we didn't make it past 9:00, Meg was ready to go home at that point! :)
